No, I've never been to a Crypto conference before. But I've attended a steem meet-up where other cryptocurrencies were talked about at a superficial level. Captivating pictures, you've got there, well done

To answer your question: Yes I recently attended my first crypto conference, Crypto Assets Conference in Frankfurt. It was an interesting experience, although I believe many other crypto conferences have a much nicer atmosphere, since in Frankfurt there were also traditional banks present and my preconception got confirmed: they really are incredibly close-minded in many ways.
I agree with what you are saying about banks, its a really complex matter because of the exponential expansion of the crypto world.
