I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing you guys would like, but I'm always happy to share any part of my workflow if anyone wants to see.
This is a before and after shot of a new model I've recently shot with, named Mayo Furlong. It was edited about 50/50 in Capture One and Photoshop.
It was shot on a Nikon D750 (thanks @condra) with a Nikon 105mm prime.

Here's the final shot.

Also yay, I've finally worked out how to do that "click to enlarge" thingy thanks to @bescouted and his very useful tutorial here.

Thanks guys
I love the after result! I wish I could edit that nicely :O
I've seen enough of your work to know you're a damn good retoucher. You're too modest.
Haha thank you but I have a lot of trouble editing the skin :( you do such a good job at it . It takes me hours to get it right
Great work. How do you feel about Capture One for skin tones? I've only read good about it so I got it for almost free via the Sony C1 offer, but haven't invested much time in it yet. So far it looked great - but I'm still using LR + PS.
Do you think there is a big advantage in using C1 for portraits?
Yep very much so. Its the skin tones I mostly use it for. Unfortunately the image displayed here are quite small and I haven't worked out how to do that whole "click to enlarge" thing yet. One of these days Ill work it out and show a high res example. The skin tone uniformity tool is one of the most useful features in C1. Saying that LR is still very capable but I just think the way C1 renders files just has that extra edge.
Actually I just figured out the click to enlarge thing so you can see a higher res version above now.
Nice work. Also, thanks for the link to the enlarge photo tutorial, very handy. I've notice a few people using this on steemit and wondered how they did it with markdown, mystery solved! Cheers
No problem at all, glad you found it helpful.
Beautiful! I love the looks of studio photography and yours is stunning!
Ahh thanks @eddieboo, very kind of you.
