RE: Kittybot is Lonely! // A Voting Bot for Minnows and New Users!

in #bidbot6 years ago

I'm still trying to understand how steemit works even after months of posting. so I see you have a lower reputation score than me and also less steem power less steem dollars and a lower estimated account value but on the bottom of your Steem Power says (+8,760.505 STEEM) and you have a vote value that is $0.80 but mine is only $0.02. can you please help me @kittybot I would like to learn how to increase my voting power why is mine so low?

Sort:

Estimated account value is based on the actual STEEM, SP, and SBD held in the account.

Steem Power says (+8,760.505 STEEM)

This actually indicates delegated account power. That means the SP is held in somebody else's account, but they have assigned (delegated) their voting power to @kittybot.

So @kittybot is able to vote somebody else's SP (because it was delegated to them) and have more valuable upvotes.
In the case of bidding bots, the delegation usually comes from investors, who then receive a share of the SBD that is sent to @kittybot for bids.

Oh nice do I have enouth to invest in any bots as a delegator yet?
