To be completely honest, it felt very weird to type in my username as my address lol. To add to the value of your post @friendly-fenix I transfer LTC to Binance, convert into BNB, then swing trade alts. The BNB/STEEM pair was very convenient with a low fee. The whole process took like 2 mins, mostly due to the fact that I had to type in google authenticator and confirm the binance-steemit transaction via email... Thanks for your post.

Thanks @friendly-fenix. Would be nice if this was explained in Steemit's settings pages, but it worked. just putting your handle in the address is sketchy but it works!!
