Stork grief

Another stork tragedy happened in our area. Residents of one of the villages noticed the strange behavior of a family of storks who have been living in this village for many years. Adult storks began to feel noticeably worse. Baby storks stopped getting on their feet, and one of the adult storks stopped flying out of the nest. Our friends, the Kiev Animal Rescue Group, went to the scene.

By the time they arrived, one of the little storks had fallen out of the nest. The pose of the second did not give up hope. Unfortunately, both chicks died. An adult stork was taken for treatment.

The cause of this tragedy was the actions of farmers who poisoned the rodents with poison. Unfortunately, such poisoning of birds is massive this year. People do not want to think about the consequences of their actions at all ...
