The long-tailed tit or long-tailed bushtit (Aegithalos caudatus)
Despite their friendliness towards people, you will not see these incredibly cute birds in city parks and gardens. Unless, flying by, but not on an ongoing basis. They simply have nothing to do in the cities. People who feed birds in winter buy standard sunflower seeds and nuts. But these birds have a small weak beak, which is not able to crush\peck them, as do,for example, Great Tits. And not able to click them as goldfinches and sparrows do. Sometimes they can examine the snow for small pieces of seeds that other birds have dropped, but this is rare. Therefore, these poor birds are forced to examine every leaf on the trees and bushes in the forest, in search of small seeds that they can eat.

Ко мне пара большаков прилетает за орешками. Самец прямо не отходя от кормушки садится и долбит орех, а самка рядом, кричит как птенец, требует чтобы ухаживал за ней. Такой шум создают!
What a little cutie! That is a good reason to have a mix of seeds in your feeders.
