The Brainwallet

Sam nervously looked around his home, memorizing the details. The bitcoin wallet that he had painstakingly constructed with a computer programmer friend was on the nightstand next to him and would be his only lifeline out of this country. He reached over and grabbed it, walking over to an old dresser in the corner and looking in the mirror.

"Get in my brain," he whispered to himself, before shoving some clothes into a bag for their escape later tonight.

Sam awoke to a flurry of gunshots and the sounds of shouting men. He blinked his eyes open, realizing that he was sitting in a dark room with cold concrete flooring. Wincing as he felt something sharp poking into his backside, Sam slowly rose to his feet feeling woozy from whatever they had injected him with. Pulling himself up by the bars at the front of the cell, Sam tried to focus on anything that could help him escape here but found nothing at all. Looking out between two bars that allowed him still small view into another part of the large warehouse-like building, Sam spotted other people being herded off in groups by soldiers holding machine guns. The only thing worse than being stuck behind these bars is knowing that he still had the key to hundreds of Bitcoin tucked away in his memory, which would be forever lost.

He would never be able to use this bitcoin to start a new life with his family, or so he thought...

Damn you are a Splinterlands monster. I finally decided to look into the game after opening a free pack years ago and am light years behind. I completely missed the boat, but will try to catch up with future packs. Again, holy crap to your dominance there.

Hey bro, I didn't know you were playing!? Going to be a slog with 7 cards, I will loan you some.

I know... I can't really get a lot of benefits right now with the low power, but I'm just having fun with the starter deck I have from the spell book. I used my DEC to buy a few of one promo card to level it up, but didn't realize that I can't use it until I have a L2 summoner. I saw the Summoner rental -- thanks. If I already have access to it in the starter pack, is there a way to leverage it to have more power or benefit? If you have any tips on how to start off, I'm all ears. I just don't want to spend a million bucks on a gold rare.

Screenshot me your starter pack, don't know what's in it

Sorry I forgot to do this. Saw your other rental - thanks! There will be several screenshots, so I can send on discord if you're still using that. I used a little old HiveEngine coins and SBD to grab a few new cards. The double-attack feature is huge. I'm realizing that I need to accumulate more power to break into the higher tiers to get more rewards in those chests and the SPS airdrops. I heard aggroed talking about how SPS stake will give you vouchers for new packs. I'm way behind, but the newer cards I got and some reward cards are helping me get more involved. I'm hesitant to invest much in this since word is that the cards and DEC are inflated right now with the new user rush, but I'm having fun and am glad I finally got into this... still early enough I hope.

Sounds like an epic start to the new Spielberg thriller! Very nice!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Haven't checked in with you in a while my man. This seems like a ripper! Is it a teaser or perhaps a part 1?
