Kraken found a hole in the KeepKey device. Of course, all of the devices had some bugs (or their software) but this one doesnt look so good.
If you are not aware, KK was bought by Shapeshift and you can even trade headless using the device.
Also on Black Friday the devices were for 5 USD while normally they are for 50 USD.. people say this is because owners knew about the bug thats gonna hit public.
We responsibly disclosed the full details of this attack to KeepKey on September 11, 2019 and are going public now so that the crypto community can protect themselves.
So yes KK knew about it, but also Kraken says.. its impossible to fix this.
So if you have KeepKey... better hide it. As you are safe with it only online for now ;)
