A few weeks ago the only thing i knew about online currency was about bitcoin and even that was limited so for the knew people on steemit i want to tell you how online currency is actually worth anything.
The reason why currency as a whole is actually worth anything is quite simple because we believe it to if america suddenly has a food shortage than the world has less faith in it and so the currency plunges as a result and it is pretty much the same with online currencies thing like bitcoin are especially stable because only 21 million bitcoin can bee "mined" after they are all in circulation it will stop but with other countries they can constantly print and mint money which i why they can be a bit more unstable.
