The BEST Way to start explaining Bitcoin to People (Best Analogy to Develop Understanding)

If you're like me and slip Bitcoin and Crypto talk into as many conversations as you possibly can, you'll know the struggle that can come from trying to explain the ins and outs of it.

So to plant the fundamental seed in their head(which by the way is very important as it will probably shape their entire view on the topic) is this analogy:

=========="Imagine a receipt from the grocery store as the money itself"========

Why does this work? It links this large unknown topic to a PHYSICAL object. The important part here is the fundamental concept.

After this I explain that Bitcoin is like a receipt that record every transaction, so instead of a bank recording in and out transactions its on a public receipt everyone can access. From here we can explain the benefits of this in terms of verifying money was sent etc.

I hope this helps with Family and Friends getting into this Revolution.
