Bitcoin prices slumped below the level of USD 6,000 on Friday (22/6) yesterday. The figure is also recorded a new low level of Bitcoin for the year 2018. Based on CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI), the bitcoin price dropped to USD 5938.18 at 21.51 UTC, past its previous low of USD 5,947 on (6/2). Since early Friday trading, bitcoin prices have fallen by more than USD 700 with a market share of only USD 102 billion which is also the lowest level this year.

Meanwhile, today, Saturday (23/6), bitcoin prices edged up 0.77% to the level of USD 6,100.53 or about Rp 86 million after opening in the position of USD 6,053.90. Throughout today BTC has moved at USD 6,049.17 to USD 6,164.46 with a market share of USD 104 billion. According to Omkar Godbole of CoinDesk on Friday, the previous technical chart shows the potential for declining bitcoin prices below USD 6,000.

The price of bitcoin itself is known to have plummeted about 9% recently after suffering a major blow through an attack on South Korea's Bithumb and CoinRail which are the two biggest bourses in South Asia.

Meanwhile, the largest crypto exchange market in Japan, bitFlyer is ordered by Japan's Financial Services Agency to suspend the creation of new accounts while they make improvements, especially in an effort to stop the practice of money laundering and terrorist financing.

"Our management and all employees are united in our understanding of how serious this issue is, as well as how serious we are in responding to them. To maximize our efforts in building appropriate services and fixing the problems identified, we temporarily suspend account creation for new customers of our own accord, "the official statement of bitFlyer, as reported by Express.

The price drop also occurs due to warnings by product designers from rival crypto who told investors to simply invest their money into bitcoin only when they are ready to lose.

"There are a lot of actors here who have bought a large amount of Bitcoin and they do not know where they got it. If speculation rises and people want to buy, then there is no circulation. So what is outstanding is limited. People are turning around and bidding more and more, "said Cassius Kiani, Product Designer and Partner at AtlasNeue.
