Bitcoin Core explained by The Three Stooges

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Bitcoin Core will go down in history as some of the biggest idiots of our time. In their control they have the most disruptive technology since the internet and only managed to make the user experience worse and worse.

When Bitcoin Cash forked off of the Bitcoin I knew at that point it would overtake Bitcoin at some time due to the usability of Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin.

To commemorate their great work over at Bitcoin Core I will try to explain it via Three Stooges Gifs.

They told us how the network would become "unsafe" if transactions increased past 1MB blocks. Instead they almost sunk the ship. The bitcoin nuclear winter of 2015 was terrible. No excitement among the community and the transaction speeds were starting to slow down.

Good old fashioned poke to eyes! Who cares if it no longer makes any sense to use the Bitcoin network? As long as Bitcore is getting paid to program they could care less about how the network works.

The Bitcoin subreddit, /r/bitcoin, was a bastion of censorship and the antithesis of the values that brought Bitcoiners together in the first place. If you are not aware /u/Theymos is a supporter of bitcoin core and will remove any post or comment that shows bitcoin core in a negative light.

Stomping on Satoshi. Satoshi's vision for Bitcoin was that it is to be,"A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System." Many members of core insist that Bitcoin is to be a 'store of value' and that it should not be used as digital cash. A statement like that can only make you wonder how it is valueable if it is not being used for anything?

Just around the corner!
