Fun And Rewarding Faucet

in #bitcoin5 years ago

Welcome to my second post where I discuss earning more crypto-currency. Thanks for reading.

A Crypto faucet seems like a simple and seductive idea. You sign up to a faucet site, perform some easy and repetitive task. In return you are rewarded with crypto coins. The most common faucets feature Bitcoin, or one of the other popular altcoins, such as Litecoin, Doge, Dash or Ethereum.

A fun and rewarding faucet is called Rollercoin

RollerCoin seems to be quite enjoyable at first glance. Instead of clicking one button every 15 minutes (as is often the case for other faucets), you take on the role of a fictional bitcoin-miner. You customise the appearance of a miner and it will be their task to improve your hash-rate per second to mine bitcoin.

By playing some mini-games that take no more than a minute, the hash-rate can be improved. Every 3 minutes, a fictional block is mined that is currently worth 3000 Satoshi. The reward is split between all users according to their proportion of the overall hash-rate (Network Power).

Unlike many other faucets, you also earn bitcoin while you are not actively doing anything or offline, just by passively mining the block.

I have spent the last few days playing the mini-games to steadily increase my hash-rate to 156.082 th/s which rewards me with 178.56 Satoshi per day. As a bonus the mini-games are slowly getting more harder and more rewarding.

There is an optional feature to purchase automated mining rigs and you can buy with your earned Satoshi. However I have not yet reached sufficient funds to purchase any rigs. Currently it appears I will earn more from the mini games, but as part of my future strategy I will explore the option of mining rigs.

Compared to other faucets I tried, Rollercoin is definitely more enjoyable and it feels very rewarding. This is probably due to the fictional mining environment you get put into. So if you want to give it a try, head over to Rollercoin.

Very interesting post.

Have you tried to make any withdrawals?

Thanks for your message. I haven't made any withdrawals on RollerCoin yet. I can't do that until i reach the minimum withdrawal limit. Hopefully i can soon.
