It's pretty clear right now that OBITS is dying. Even with the buyback, OBITS just keep on falling. For some reason it has something to do with OBITS changing it's buyback to 50% bitUSD buyback and 50% bitUSD airdrop. Also it's been months since there are no proper update with OBITS not to include it's website that's out of date and let's be real it's a broken.
Timer's broken, dead chat support, and tier 4 is nowhere to be found.
I'm not writing this because I hate OBITS. In fact, OBITS are few of many assets that is working. But just because it's working doesn't mean it's "working". We have witness OBITS downfall even if it's working, ever since it's buyback features switch from Bitshares to bitUSD.
It's falling faster than other assets on Bitshares DEX.
If OpenLedger keeps on ignoring OBITS, the "trust" they needed on investors will collapse. They need to step up the game and do something about this. I believe that OpenLedger is(was) still a great platform. Obits needs to start by updating their website to a working one, with a support that answers the needs of the investors. They also need to give more proper roadmap on their website to know where OBITS is heading. It also should use the previous buyback system cause it's working perfectly fine back then.The 50% buyback and 50% airdrop is pretty much not useful. As I can get $30 per month with an investment of $6000 - $8000? It won't bring investors anywhere really. Imagine those investors who holds small amount of OBITS? By doing a 100% buyback OBITS might go somewhere even without any updates. OpenLedger must do what is right and bring back OBITS to greatness.

I hold quite a few obits and as long as the dividends keep coming I'm happy with it.
If you want to see the price of Obits increase, take actions that increase the volume on the bitshares DEX.
Increased volume will generate increased revenue and increased revenue will generate increased dividends.
As dividends increase so does ROI - smart investors will notice and the price of OBITS will increase.
Volume is much lower these last few months then at the end of 2017, so dividends and obits value has been lower too.
Pick your favorite coin and place some market making orders - its a small step you can take to increase volume on the DEX.
