I sent 6 steem dollars to my bitshares account road2wisdom a couple of hours ago and I hit the copy address and copy memo and copied it into my transfer windows on steemit control. It's been a couple of hours now and it never took this long. Did I do something wrong was it suppose to be sent to openledger-dex instead of openledger? When i check the steemd on @openledger https://steemd.com/@openledger I am the last sent deposit which is odd i thought. I just want to know did i lose my 6sd, so I can stop refreshing my bitshares page or will it still go in? I have tried to contact a few people from bitshares but i have not heard anything back so I was wondering if anyone from Steemit or if anyone from the BTS community is here who can help me Thanks :/

They are in Denmark. Sometimes it takes them time to respond depending on the number of support tickets. I will help resolve this matter if you don't hear back with a resolution soon.
Oh why thank you my dear VR what a doll you are! I know I had plans with that 6sd it was my last sd for the day and I don't want to transfer btc out of sd now I have to wait grrr. thanks for you help Sheryl
I brought this up in the bitshares telegram, and it does sound like the problem is you sent to @openledger instead of @openledger-dex
Best advice is to keep trying to reach them at support (the button bottom left inside openledger.io). In the future, for smaller amounts, you may also prefer just to use blocktrades.us and exchange SBD for BTS, especially if the rate seems reasonable enough for you.
Thank you I used the copy address feature so I don't know and I was told by VR its fine that I sent it to openledger instead of openledger-dex weird makes me wonder if I copied it wrong or nevemind. whatever it was 6sd only I have tried to contact them and others and nobody is replying accept for stella helping bring attention to my post and VR telling me that sending it to openledger is ok. Anyway, Thank you @alexmorris for looking into this for me. I have had a bad week I cant stress my self out of this 6sd anymore but I appreciate everything :)
I figure you mean (at least partially) what happened with your son, pretty terrible stuff. I certainly appreciate your sentiment of "homeschooling". Regarding this, I'd keep hitting them up, and hopefully they'll get it taken care of (and hopefully a lot quicker than a "centralized" poloniex ticket). In the meantime, seems like your post got you covered for now! :)
Yes, my son and other things that happened! He will start homeschooling in January. Yes the post seems to have covered it although that wasn't my intention! Also I sent a memo to @openledger asking for my 6sd back. Is this account part of bts? or kind of like the randowhale randomwhale thing? lol

I think it is part of openledger (from what they were saying on the EOS telegram), but not something they check very often, except maybe for cases like yours. I'd also use the support feature in openledger as well, if you haven't already (I think you did that too though).
Regarding the other issue, I've often said if I get to that point (having kids and all), sort of feel that way too. Might also be kind of cool if there was some sort of community of "wise folks" where each shares their individual "wisdom and perspectives" with the kids as sort of a "homeschooling" group, but that's just me thinking "off the cuff"...
or @officialfuzzy he will probably be able to help you. I have no idea about this one...
