I've found it challenging to create an environment or context on which to place the 3D models I'm creating. Somehow it seems like every time it should be different or at least make sense in accordance to what is presented.
I found this interesting elevation model tutorial by Ducky 3D and decided to check it out. I like his approach and how easy this kind of images can be created
The look is a bit like a cartoon, but I like the potential of using it on my future projects even though the tutorial suggested the use of this technique to create background images.
Specially on a close up, it still looks interesting.
