Thanks for sharing this outstanding topic @lionindayard....the issue of slow confirmation of emails and phone numbers of our prospectives steemians is getting out hand and rapt attention urgenty needed to tackle that.
The other day....few of my friend i introduce to the platform....sign in immediately but till now their confirmation status are still pending....they have been asking question....all i could tell them is to exercise patient.
If not for this confirmation problem many of my would have abandoned their facebook page as i did and join me here to better their lives, advertise their product...because in order to advertise in face to reach a larger audience in facebook , you must pay for post promotion.

Have gone through it...its a serious problem oooooh....real users cannot create even a single account within months while scammers can create 100 account within minutes....this is a call for alarm....urgent solution needed
