Well i feel like the powerful people remain powerful because we continue to use their network. It has become kinda addiction/ necessity , so we continue using it. So more the number of people into the blockchain network , the more will the powerful people go powerless . I guess Bittorrent can be taken as an example. And yeah, they are smart enough and would surely try to catch up with the changing technology to make money out of it. Lets see how successful they'll be at it.
