Unfortunately, I'm Going to Get Into Someone's Face! (Personal Blog)

in #blog8 years ago

Lord Jesus, please give me patience and a cool mind in this matter.

Over the past few months, I've been attempting to resolve a financial fraud committed by an employee of my auto insurance company.

Last year, I called their customer service line to pay my bill over the phone. The service rep with whom I spoke surprisingly tried to upsell me. I ultimately told him that I'm not ready to have premium insurance, but I will review his proposed coverage plans.

To my surprise, my next bill included these premium policy changes which I did NOT accept! Even worse, when I complained about it, the rep's supervisor backed up the fraudulent employee, and in no uncertain terms, called me a liar.

Due to my extraordinarily busy schedule, I've only been able to call the company to attempt to resolve the issue. Now, I'm looking to free-up my schedule so that I can confront these pricks face-to-face.

Aside from the face-to-face, I'm considering filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Hopefully, that will do the trick.

Anyways, thanks for letting me vent! :)

Whoa! they were trying to fill their quota. Sad.
Keep up the trend.

I think you should file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. And remember that the God of falsehood will punish the liars. And the truth will win.

I was on the verge of doing so, but fortunately, the manager at the company solved my problem! :)

Call their bluff and ask them to provide proof you consented the the premium policy; if they can't provide proof they are whistling in the wind. In the UK these companies generally record phone calls, so there is some proof

They ended up calling their own bluff, and I was proven correct! More importantly, I got what I was seeking! :)

glad you got it sorted!
