Where we live?
The Earth is known by all as "The Blue Planet", a land mass whose great part is covered by a single element, water. But ... Have you ever thought that it is the exact proportion of water on our planet? If you are one of those curious people who always want to know new things, from the post @caquintero we wanted to answer this question as easily as posible.
If we focus on the liquid, the total amount is divided into 96.5% of salt water and 3.5% of fresh water that we can find in the rivers and lakes mentioned above. Without forgetting the underground natural aquifers and ice that melt at the poles every year. For this reason we can say that 69% of the fresh water of our planet is completely frozen. A percentage that decreases over the years due to greenhouse gases.
How much water is there on the planet?
If all the percentages of ice mentioned above kept the water in liquid state, the level of the sea would increase with an increase in height of approximately 2.7 kilometers. That is, we would obtain about 1,300 million cubic kilometers of water, equivalent to 1/4400 of the total mass of the planet (0.02%).
Throughout the history of humanity there have been several wars, many of them by natural resources, Gold, Diamonds, Oil, Coal among others, but this world is approached by a very big controversy a future war for a mineral more important than all the aforementioned together, this is Water, a resource that almost nobody on the planet thinks is important but if it is, since "Life is water and water is life", very controversial the saying but the reality another. There is a phenomenon that is finished with the reserves of clean water in the world and it is the consumerism of the human being for the construction of polluting chemical industries and the overpopulation discriminated without taking preventive analysis to preserve the fauna or river basins, they only destroy and build how is that? Destroy the environment and build urbanisms or factories do not let the water cycle flow naturally.
But what can we do to avoid that Future?
