There's so much clutter on steemit sometimes it's hard to find the good authors and posts as they get buried in the myriad of posts that receive high payouts regardless of quality of content due to people wanting curation rewards. So I've compiled my favorite authors on steemit that provide amazing content!

Lexiconical regularly posts unbiased blogs on different STEEM witnesses and what they do for the community. Very important to follow lexiconical if you're invested into STEEM. - @soldier
Sometimes it's nice to just meet someone that's not a techie or crypto enthusiast on Steemit. Soldier regularly posts interesting articles on her life experiences. What seperates soldier from most authors is she's an amazingly skilled writer. Most posts on steemit are tl;dr for me but her posts are concise and engaging. She regularly engages with her followers and commenters. - @haejin
One of the most informative, active, and accurate technical analysts in the crypto space. His videos have taught me how to apply my own technical analysis to trading cryptos. You won't find a better free TA on steemit. - @ummjackson
Known as the creator of Dogecoin. Ummjackson has put his time now to use in providing very very educational videos on the crypto space. His videos are fantastically edited, and provide better insight into cryptocurrencies than you can find 90% elsewhere. Very underrated author! - @sweetsssj
You won't find a better travel blogger than Miss Sweetsssj. Probably the most popular blogger on the platform she provides rich history lessons on the places she visits. If you're traveling this is the blog to check out for ideas!
