Van I still all questions about this post?
As I'm kind of new and trying to learn as much as possible about steemit I always have numerous questions.
In this case for example I would like to know if you notice good results as of the moment you started upvoting comments from your own posts?
Results like more comments? More followers? Bounty hunters trying to earn something quickly? Etc. Etc.
Yes, the results have been pretty good so far. I don't know if the pace of new followers picked up, but there is certainly a lot more going on in the comment section of the posts I write, which I find to be a very good thing. And there are of course a lot of people who post a generic spam comment as well, hoping to make a few cents.
At this moment I would love to get some of those "great post comments". But that's only because I'm new and for now don't have to much followers.
I actually think it's a brilliant idea to upvote in the comment section. That would probably help to let steemit grow. Atm I think the average number of comments is around 2.5 per post. If you take into account that some comments only contain 1 sentence, there are really very few comments per post. And I always believed that social media lives by interaction.
Do you often receive comments with a different opinion or even critics? I do write them sometime, although I've learned it would be best to not. That's even included in the etiquette guide.
