2020: Lunging Headfirst

As the year winds up
Opened my books to see
All the goals and dreams
I set for 2019

Turns out most went unaccomplished
As if to add insult to injury
There were unexpected tragedies
Ensuring I had little time for misery

Did I set the bar too high?
I often wonder after a while
Afterall it was out of my hands
Maybe this goal thing is just a sham

So for 2020 I have no set goals per say
I'm only setting things within my power
First year of jumping blind if I may
Will power is all am taking from my arsenal
