These competitive exams were supposed to be conducted in April-May but due to covid 19 outbreak the National Testing Agency (NTA) kept postponing the exam dates.
but now they decided to conduct the JEE from September 1 to 6 and the NEET will be held on September 13.

Around 16 lakh students have registered for NEET-UG this year, while close to 9.3 lakh students had registered for JEE-Mains (Paper I) that was conducted in January.
due to floods in many of states in India many students want jee and neet to be postponed.Several aspirants took to social media on Thursday to convey to the ministry that travelling to examination centres and lodging amid restrictions are the biggest challenges, and not social distancing at test centres. It is very difficult for students in flooded regions to reach exam centers in rural areas. while some students are afraid because 32 students who sat for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam, tested positive for the Coronavirus.

iam glad that some people are showing concern towards issues like this but the government is not going to postpone the exams
i decided to post this because my sister is one of the applicants
iam thankful to god that our state was not flooded but still the fear of getting affected by covid 19 scares my family but i dont think some students prioritize education over health and why shouldnt they, after working so hard.
