Hi, guys!
I have a busy workday planned today. I need to shoot a ton of material, including packages from publishers, toy commercials, and a whole stack of book reviews that I've long overdue for. I missed the deadline again, and now I'm backlogged.
I promised myself this wouldn't happen again, but I'm stuck with a backlog of shoots. I don't know how to avoid it. And I'll probably spend another week working to reduce my backlog, because I've accumulated over a dozen books.
But that's okay, I'll shoot three or four a day until I'm done.
All in all, I'm doing pretty well right now. The blog is growing, and I still haven't lost hope of getting it to 30,000 followers within three months of blogging.
It irritates me that people I don't like in my field have more followers than me, so I'm actively trying to fix that. Besides, I have a lot of collaborations with publishers, and they all need to be wrapped up immediately because new ones are coming in and I simply don't have time to do reviews. But ultimately, that's exactly what I was aiming for.
So today I need to shoot all the commercials and all the unboxings, and after that, I can start writing reviews so their number starts to decrease, because my publishing shelf is constantly overflowing and this situation definitely needs to be rectified.
I hope I don't come back from book country empty-handed either, because if I do, it would certainly be a shame.
Have a great day, everyone!
