Hi, guys!
For now, my weekends are still on, but every now and then I lift my head and come up with something work-related.
For example, yesterday I joined a writer's chat, where I'll be listening to some cool lectures from time to time, and the first one is on Monday. It will be interesting to be part of a community of my own, and it will be great to have support. At the same time, I want to distance myself as much as possible from the people I attended the writing courses with. Most of them just irritate me. I just don't like them.
I don't know why. Maybe it's because I've heard them whine too much about not wanting to write. And I couldn't understand how that could happen, or why they came to the writing course in the first place. Now I'm getting closer to the point where I need to get back to writing, and I'm getting closer, and I hope that after the New Year I'll finally get back to active work. My betas are ready to support me.
I'm still loudly resentful that my mother, despite her promise, never read my text. I knew she would. But I still hoped she would fulfill her promise. But no, as always, I wasn't her first choice. This was to be expected, but as always, I had a childish hope that maybe she would act differently this time. She didn't.
So, naturally, I had to look for other betas, and in the end, they turned out to be wonderful people with whom I worked well. Now I want to finish the second volume before submitting it to a publisher. I also want to start writing a rom-com; I think that will also be an interesting experience.
So, I'll have three books in the works, and I hope to publish all three at some point, and my writing career will take off easily and naturally. And it will be easy and powerful. So, I'm getting ready and getting to work. I'm a little nervous, as always, but that's completely normal. The main thing is to believe in yourself, and everything will definitely work out.
