Life in blackout

in #blog14 hours ago

Hi, guys!

Today, after the russian attack last night, there was a blackout in the city, and I've almost forgotten what it's like. It's been a while. But apparently we need to prepare for the winter to be exactly like this, with practically no power. So today we'll be reviewing everything we did in previous situations to ensure all our appliances were charged and had constant access to power so we could comfortably use the apartment. So we'll be solving this problem.

We have a lot of rechargeable lamps left over from previous years, so there's no need to buy new ones. Power banks are generally sufficient; I have a bunch of string lights hanging in my room that are constantly on. I hung an LED strip in the bathroom, which provides enough light to shower properly even without the power, so everything is fine. We also have a regular kettle, so we don't rely on the water cooler.

They say winter will be cold, so we need to prepare for the fact that the lights really can go out frequently and for long periods. Oh well, no big deal; we can see our neighbors are jerks even in the dark. Just keep working as if nothing happened; we'll win anyway. Simply because it can't be any other way.

And now I'm going to the gym and find out what their schedule is like. I need to add some physical activity to my schedule, and I think it's time to do that. Especially since there's nothing to do at home right now; it's dark and gloomy. So I'll take advantage of this opportunity.

Have a great day, everyone!
