It all worked out that I just finished my vacation, but I haven't regained my strength. Instead, my bipolar disorder has flared up, and I need urgent treatment for my headaches to avoid being hospitalized. I just spoke with a doctor, and naturally, he suggested hospitalization.
That seems like the best option, but it's going to be tough to deal with right now. I have a lot of work, and I'm not ready to just quit. It's completely unclear how I'll be able to film videos and work on my book. So we need to find ways to keep me at home and treat me at home. So we're trying to solve the problem.
My husband doesn't really understand what's happening to me, and I'm having a hard time explaining it to him. I'd like him to be more understanding and responsive, but that's very difficult with psychiatric disorders. So, little by little, this connection is developing, but much more slowly than it could have been. Of course, I'm partly to blame for this, but the problem is that explaining a mental disorder to someone who hasn't gone through it themselves is incredibly difficult, and perhaps unnecessary.
So, for the most part, you're still left alone with it.
Today, I'm thinking of going to the post office, taking the dogs for a short walk, if I can get through it before dark, and then maybe doing a little unpacking, because I've had a few books delivered, and two Funko Pop figurines have been sitting around for quite some time, which I want to finally unpack. I haven't decided what I'll do after that, but I already have a few books I need to read for a collaboration. I think some books for a collaboration have arrived at the post office too.
One of the publishers is delaying delivery, which is very annoying. I'd like them to arrive sooner, but it looks like I'll have to remind them. It's annoying because this will be the second reminder. Too bad.
