Hi, guys!
We've had another setback, which will likely prevent me from working properly or resting properly today. We were supposed to take a friend's wife home after her surgery, which was supposed to be a pleasant getaway with friends, but instead we're urgently looking for a plumber because we have a leak somewhere, no one knows where, and we're flooding our neighbors.
One of them, the one assigned to our house, showed up this morning and said he couldn't see anything and left. Brilliant! Asshole! So now we're urgently looking for someone else, because we can't sit without water. And we haven't had it for quite some time, and it's completely unclear what to do.
One thing is good: I'm supposed to receive a lot of packages today, and among them will most likely be my bookcases, so I can finally sort my published books and my personal reading material into them. At least that's a relief.
So, the day promises to be challenging, and all my hopes for a rest and a normal day have literally vanished. I really wanted to have a normal day. But it didn't work out that way.
So now I'm hoping we can at least quickly find a specialist who can fix our water so we don't have to replace the pipes, because that would be a total nightmare.
