I'm still working on reaching out to as many publishers as possible. The good thing is that once you've secured a deal with someone, it's much easier next time. You've already established contacts, so now I just need to go through all of this, build up my client base, and then I won't have to do it again. So right now, it's just a difficult period when I need to establish agreements. That's what I'm working on.
The bad thing right now is that I rarely get responses. I have to squeeze every response, and that's frustrating, of course. But that's okay; every response I get is a clear foundation for collaboration, and it's a clear foundation for future collaborations, so it's worth it. Right now, I need to be patient and persistent, gradually expanding the list of publishers I work with. I need to have as many of them as possible, so everyone knows about me, and each one has good reviews.
That's why I'm currently reading books from publishers.
The giveaways on the page are currently gaining me a good following, so everything's going well. I'm already planning the next ones to keep things going, so everything is going well and I'm enjoying it. I want the account to reach twenty thousand followers by the new year. Thirty thousand is definitely a better goal, but I don't think that figure will be possible just yet; it's too high. But it's better to aim higher; that might even be more. So I'll aim higher.
In other areas of my life, things aren't going so smoothly yet; my time is completely taken up by the blog, and it's hard to find time for distractions. But I'll try to find ways to do other things. At least walking the dogs and adding some exercise is a start.
