This week, I'm testing a new system where I limit the amount of time I spend filming each day and try to fit other activities into my day. It's not yet clear if it's working, as I have a lot of distractions, and it's unclear whether I'll be able to properly test this new approach before the end of the week or whether I'll need another week to get a more or less transparent test. One thing is for sure: I accomplished everything I had planned today.
I've decided to try to establish contact with one publisher each week. I've already had some success this month, and perhaps I shouldn't rush as much as I've started to; perhaps I should slow down a bit and take things more gradually. But it's a bit annoying that some publishers, who should have approached me by now, are keeping quiet, and I'm starting to wonder if their cooperation isn't really that helpful. After all, there's one thing they really need, not me, so let them figure out what they're missing out on.
So for now, I'll slow down a bit and aim for bigger projects, since every little thing is still allowing itself to not respond to me. No big deal, then, when they come to me, we'll talk on my terms. Because my blog is growing and developing, one way or another, so they'll need my help sooner or later anyway.
Meanwhile, I'm waiting for a response from the publisher regarding my book, and that's the more important point. I've completely stopped worrying about it; now I'm just thinking about how I'll proceed based on the outcome.
