Jonathan Milligan and Bob Lotich have highlighted six habits common to all successful bloggers, and in this article I will try to show you that that habits aren’t applicable only in a blogging context, but are also very useful in whatever life area you choose. I decided to split my article into 3 parts for easier consuming. :)

By the way, Jonathan and Bob are mentioning these habits in the first episode of Blogging your Passion podcast, one of my favorite blogging podcasts of all time. It can be very useful to all of you who want to monetize your blog, engage readers in a right way or learn how to be persistent in creating quality and interesting content.

And now - what can we learn from successful bloggers habits?

Never ever stop educating yourself

Constant education keeps us vital - it keeps us away from the emptiness of vanity, it keeps our mind flexible and ready to accept new challenges. We are living in a world that requires constant adjustments to different kind of changes in social, economic and political plan.

Don’t let time run over you, be up to date with all new informations that are relevant to you. To have the right information at a right time means to have power.

If you are writing a blog, do your best to learn something new each day. One small thing every day will be enough to keep you on a right track and in a constant move. Find out how can you improve your blog, how to provide your readers with more interesting and valuable content, how to improve blog design etc. This is the only way you can keep growing as a blogger. And don’t forget to share with others important things you have learned.

Sharing multiplies

So, don’t forget to share what you have or what you know - kindness is always rewarded, believe it or not, but don’t expect reward immediately every time you help someone. Rather try your best to help every time you can without thinking off benefits it can bring to you.

Just don’t be selfish. Looking long-term, that’s never profitable. Of course, you shouldn’t let other people make a fool of you and exploit you. Be kind, but don’t take any shit from nobody.

If you are a blogger, don’t hesitate to share other bloggers content. Don’t fear that they will take your readers away from you.

If you are creating valuable, original, high quality and helpful content, there’s no force in this world that can turn your readers from or against you. Help with a good advice, share useful information, and from time to time, recommend a good blog that needs a bit of wind in the back to your readers.

That's all for now! Part II. is coming soon! ;)
