Tinyhouse Grand tour.......Virtual Tour of The Big Green Steem Machine!!!

in #blog7 years ago

This is a Virtual tour of our home on wheels, It's my first ever video and probably the last as I am a bit camera shy and I have the most enoying voice on the planet.

This video was shot with my phone so it's a bit shakey and there is some wind noise. Enjoy :)

Sweet freakin rig dude, I want nothing more than to build something like you have and live in it full time. Although, I couldn't imagine being able to put one together as nice as you did here, that coach is beautifully crafted. All of the wood just looks so damn good. I'd love to see what it looks like in the cab.

Trust me if I can do it then so can you, before this I had never built anything.
Thanks for the feedback.

I really enjoyed this video tour. You sound good on video, Mark. You should do more.

It's amazing what you and your family have accomplished. A lot of Filipinos in my area would love to live in that. Most of them are farmers with large families and they live in small "shacks". Some of them have never even been to the city.

When I resteemed your other post, I thought to check back in about a week to see if you had some new content up. Whoa! You've been really busy. Lol. A lot of great content. :)

Resteeming this to 12,000+ followers. Hope it helps a little, Mark.

Wow thank you @joanaltres, I wrote a post yesterday about Bots and in this post I explained what happened when you resteemed my post. Have a little read if you get time.
Thank you again for being so generous and kind. :)

Thank you for the tour, @markwhittam! You guys did an amazing job putting your home together.

Your welcome @jannell
Glad you enjoyed it :)

I had to upvote and resteem that. Awesome the simple life!!

Thank you much appreciated :)

This is fantastic! Not sure how I haven't seen your blog before. Thanks for the awesome tour! I envy living in this type of thing.

Would love to see more videos from you. No need to be shy, you did a great job!

Thank you @adventureevryday for your kind words, I will think about doing more videos, I actually enjoyed doing it. Stay tuned for more adventures :)

Following and ready for more! :)

So cool

Great video tour Mark. Everything is very organized and thought out. In an earlier post you mentioned having to leave Sweden due to issues with children. Is that still the plan? If so how does that effect your work cycle you mentioned, traveling for 6 months , then back to Sweden to work for 6 months?

Thank you Mark, I will jump over and read that - not sure how I missed it in my feed.

A wonderful publication Greetings to you I wish you a beautiful day

Thank you @tohamy7
Glad you enjoyed it, a great day to you too :)

Big Green steem machine is something else, nicely done my friend. Fours years of freedom, thats awesome

Thanks @raybrockman it does feel good to be free from all the bills, and it has brought us closer, literally :)

your house is looking great man, O like those beds and that table! OMG! Nice to see you! I love your beard :O

Thank you very much, glad you liked it. :) hahaha yeah the beards great, it's has about six different colours, ginger being one. :)

my beard doesn't growing and I am disperately to have one!

Your voice is not annoying at all! But nobody likes to hear their own recorded voice... until you get used to it. I think it's because it sounds so different compared to hear it when you speak because then your head and body makes it sound different for you than it sounds to others. :D

By the way... nice tiny house you have! :)

Thank you, yeah i'm just not used to hearing it i suppose. glad you like the tinyhouse :)
thanks for stopping by

I just hit the follow button. This kind of lifestyle interests me very much. How many kids do you have? isn't it hard in such a small space with... I guess... at least 4 persons?

Hahaha we have 4 kids, bit it works great, when u live in a small space you are out most of the day, we just sleep and eat in the truck, rainy days can be a challenge.

Wow, 4 kids. Congratulations!
And what about winter? Let me guess again... you just follow summer around the world? That would be nice... :D

You got it, summers in Sweden winters in the South of Spain :)

Very cool buddy.
And FYI your voice is just right for video and you have a perfect face for radio (jk).
👍

hahaha thats the funniest complement I have ever had. Thanks for making me laugh.

Wow! The attention to detail is absolutely perfect! I could see myself in that tiny house, and the kitchen rocks it! Thank You for sharing it with us! Resteemit to share to others!

Wow thanks for all the compliments, we love our tinyhouse and are blessed to have so many people on steemit who also love our lifestyle.
Thanks for the resteem :)

That's a wonderful space you have there! your hose is beautiful i like it"follow and vote me"@rameshkumar

Great video! I say keep making them. I just wanted to keep watching your slice of life. I'm impressed with the wiring that you did in that thing. Not easy i'm sure.

Your voice is not annoying.... you are going to kill Mayweather. ;P
Can't wait to see more!

Hahaha thanks, maybe I should do the next video in an Irish accent :)

Thanks for sharing.

That is a nice little house...warm and cozy :) Thank you for sharing

Glad you liked it :)

Thank you sir, glad you liked it :)

That's a wonderful space you have there! Takes me back to my days of living in an old school bus we rebuilt to be a moving summer cabin... great use of space!

Thank you very much for feedback, we love living like this, it's been 4yrs and we have no regrets. I would love to do up an old American school bus, Soooooo much space and they are very charming to look at.

How neat is this!

Lovely weekend to you!

Thank you @artedellavita
Thanks for the feedback.

You are very welcome!

Wow, this is purely amazing.

I hope one day I can build a house of my own, something really small, something really cozy, something simple. I was never a big fan of big houses, I would rather live in a small cabin, packed with books, and all the things I need around me.

Congratulations for your tiny house, and best of luck!

Thank you very much for your kind words, we could never go back to living in a big house, we did for 2 weeks whilst having some work done on the tinyhouse and we really didn't like it.
Thanks for the feedback

I've been waiting for a tour since I found you last week. Thanks for delivering. I've been wanting to put a stove in my rv. You should feel comfortable continuing to do video. Nothing wrong with your voice, and did the beard.

Thank you @aboutyourbiz for your compliment, I suppose I'm good at delivering, well I am a truck driver by trade :)
I might do more videos one day, I think the trick is for me not watch them myself. I used to be an M.C back in the day, everyone thought I was really good and so did I until one of my friends recorded a gig we did, After hearing the recording I never picked up a mic again. :)

We ALWAYS sound worse to ourselves. I think it's because what we hear is in our head as we speak, and it sounds different in a recording. A recording is how we sound to other people.

And besides, the accent is endearing. :)

thanks, Mark. The wood slab is really special. That is the kind of thing I want for my house.

They are so beautiful, and they only get better with age, this one was from a tree that fell down in a hurricane which kinda feels good.
I am going to look into that silver group link you sent me when I get some spare time b)

nice that the wood has a known history as well.

Loving the Big Green Steem (Steam?) Machine? But genuinely have to say you've done an incredible job, your home looks amazing.

I think like many others, with the number every increasing, I would love to have something like that, especially with such a natural and homely feel. But I think even my inability with any kinda of tools may slow me down a bit.

How long did it take you all to complete? 💚🚙

Thank you @alioops, from start to finish it took six months, before this I had never built anything, I had doubts in the beginning but it's surprising what you can do when you put your mind to it.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Wow! Great to hear your voice! And what a superb "house" you have. All those steemmachines just look utterly amazing. You really should do a small Steemtour across Europe so we all be able to shake hands at least once! ;)

Hahaha thanks for the compliments buddy, we are without a doubt driving through Holland, and it would be rude not to stop by and say hello, look forward to that day my friend :)

Absolutely amazing. It just looks so peaceful and calm and inviting. It looks like a whole lot of love was poured out to create that for your family and that they will know what is most important in the end, when it comes to family. Makes me wish I had a someone to undertake such a beautiful "becoming".

Oh my gosh how beautiful and inspiring. Living the life! Love the raw and unedited and your voice is just great! I haven't seen you on steemit before, maybe because i'm so new but Im certainly going to be following you. What do you and your wife do when you aren't traveling?
My husband and I are just getting back from a year long trip in our much smaller rig and you've inspired me to do a video about ours. Thanks!

Oh and what kind of truck is it? I've never seen such a thing here in the states.

Hi @jayjayjeffery thanks for the compliments, I just work as a truck driver for the summers and my partner hasn't worked since our first child was born six months ago, we live simple and are good savers, in 2 months we go to Portugal to buy land so as we can start up our eco-village.
Want to find out more check out this POST
WOW, that sounds amazing, yes please make a video and lots of posts about your travels, if you haven't already :0)
Followed

Oh the truck is an old Mercedes horse transporter for more info & how we built it

Excellent work with the wood, and you made great use of space. Thumbs up! Loved the tour, thanks for sharing. Fallowing, upvoted and reteemed.

Hi @Markwhittam - Great video! We just sold everything and are traveling with our family across the US in an RV trying to find a new place to call home :) LOVE the simple life. We have already gotten rid of so much and even still... we joke we could donate another 50% easily. It's just stuff! Not the important stuff. Enjoy!!!

found it. awesome
