The 15th and current Yang di-Pertuan Agong is Sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan. His reign began on 13 December 2016, after his election on 14 October 2016 at the 243rd Conference of Rulers. The ceremony installation of the 15th Yang di-Pertuan Agong was held on 24 April 2017.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong (literally “He Who Was Made Lord”) is the monarch and head of state of Malaysia. The Yang di-Pertuan Agong is one of the few elected monarchs in the world.

Title

The full title in Malay is Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Padua Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong. Common English terms in the media and by the general public include “King”, “Supreme King”, “Paramount Ruler”, “Head of State”, “Head of the Federation”, and “Head of State of the Election”.

During The King’s Arrival

The King was greeted on arrival by government leaders led by the Minister of Federal Territories, Labuan Member of Parlimen, Secretary-General of the Minister of Federal Territories, community leaders and local religious leaders. During his arrival, a special prayer was read by the Mufti of the Federal Territories.

The King’s Visit

The King officiated Al Mahmudiyyah Mosque (also known as the ‘Blue Mosque’ to locals) at Kg Lajau yesterday and attended the ‘Program Labuan Berselawat dan Ilmiah’ today at Financial Park Convention Hall Labuan with local residents in conjunction with the ‘Federal Territory Day’.

We provide sound and stage lighting systems for the evening event at Convention Hall. Complete sound and lighting at the main hall and another 4 systems linked from the main control system. Each located at different floors (Ground Floor-Outdoor Walkway Area, Ground Floor-Mall Area, 2nd Floor & 3rd Floor).
