I can certainly relate.
The work I have been doing with clients was allowing them to express what they experienced somatically either as a raw sound, or maybe even as a gesture or movement of some kind.
Word-language is part of the Conscious/Rational/Discerning-Mind channel... it is processed, refined... pasteurised, if you will.
But raw expression whether gestured, moved, vocalised, or expressed as a visual image drawn/painted/sketched/etc is something closer to the authenticity of the individual experiencing it.
I don't bother trying to find words anymore - unless there is a word that adequately expresses it.
