All those fires and the smoke, it's terrible. All that land being destroyed, and the man hours of those firemen battling the blazes...
On a sad note, I was very sorry to hear of Aretha Franklin's death today!
Yes it's been an amazing journey coming to terms with the idea that this area maybe full of smoke and Fire every year from early summer to fall maybe even from late spring. People in the area here have gone through the 7 stages as though it was the death of an idea now there's a new reality it's hard to believe that people will keep coming here for the Shakespeare Festival and tourism in the summer when the valley is full of smoke.
