They are nice to have and it's also nice the girls show some interest. Trying to decipher them is ... eeerrm fun. Thankfully the records office provided a help sheet for all the acronyms and things. Unfortunately, they didn't transcribe the rather challenging handwriting.

I wonder if 'AI' tools could help. I've not looked into military records, but we have medals and dog tags from some of our family. I need my parents to record what they know of the family history. I did some family tree research a while back, but it can be tricky to ensure you get the right people. My mum has some details that I need to get typed up as she is not into computers.
