It’s not at all about when you do something!
You can work at 4 in the morning or at 4 in the afternoon.
You can work on a wednesday or on a sunday.
And you can even work christmas eve!
And the same is true for your resolutions, your commitments, and the changes you bring to your life.
TIME DOES NOT MATTER!
Stop being bound by the rules of how most people think about time, thinking that you have to achieve everything big at the start of the year, at the start of the week, and at the start of the day.
Make your new years resolutions during the middle of the year, treat every Monday like a Friday, and know that sleeping less one night to get more work done will not kill you.
You can decide what to do in each moment, no matter when that moment is!
But right now you keep limiting yourself by the rules of time!
You only make resolutions at the start of the year, only decide how the week will go on Mondays and only decide the pace of the day at the beginning of the day.
And if any of these things should go wrong, then you will wait for the next timely opportunity.
Didn’t get your new year’s resolutions done? Well… guess we have to wait for next year then.
Didn’t start the week off strong? Better luck next week.
Had a horrible start to the day? It’s just one more wasted day, who cares.
These are the thoughts you are having all the time, but why not have these instead:
Didn’t get your new year’s resolutions done? Well… guess we have to make some more right now that we will achieve!
Didn’t start the week off strong? Then it’s about time we make the rest of this week amazing!
Had a horrible start to the day? Then let’s take a deep breath and reset to make today a day worth remembering!
Stop acting like a slave to time and become a person that uses their time however they need to to succeed!

Ah I love this advice! It's so true, we tell ourselves these silly little stories that do us no good! This is exactly why I always start a new year's resolution in November. That gives me ample time to set the habits I will need to them celebrate the established habits come January.
I also notice that when I create a to do list, I'm a bit hesitant at first. But when I just dive in and get the things done that I can do RIGHT NOW, I become super effective.
Awesome post @thuylannguyen - thanks for sharing this!
