Am I happy?
Life is strange. I never would have guessed I would end up where I am now. The road I have taken has been long and complicated. I think I am on the right track. There are so many challenges, setbacks and diversions that it is hard to be "optimistic". I have always been a pessimist and I always feel justified because I did not have an easy life, but so often I see people with worse fates that have true optimism and are truly positive. I find this humbling and inspiring. I try to keep growing, developing. I want to be better tommorow than I was today.
computers, work, money
These are the things that stress me out the most, at the moment.
computers
My brother installed Debian on my laptop years ago and it seems that I now need to reinstall the OS. I never fully understood Linux,so this is really painful and time consuming. I cannot even get it to boot from USB.
work
The work I do is fairly stressful: high stakes, lot of time pressure, lots of emotions. I can deal with all that. What I cannot deal with is the backstabbing and mismanagement. I try to see it as a challenge, but it really makes me bitter and I hope to leave this career in the next 10 years, if the gods permit.
money
People that say that money does not matter normally have enough or are lacking long term insight. There are so many bills to pay and I want to invest in my future: I want to get more camera stuff, a computer that works, a printer, things for my vegetable garden, etc.
peace
I try to meditate and exercise, which helps. I am on the path to self reliance, but the distractions are many and it is easy to get of track.
I like steemit and it helps me to stay inspired and focused.
Use Linux Mint, it will be one stress factor less! Easy to install, and a desktop that is great to use.
I think on the one side life is much more arbitrary than we want to believe, but on the other side one always ends up in the right spot, for that moment...
I've also had some issues with debian so I think I'll try the same...
Thanks, will give it a go!

If you use the right tool to create a bootable usb stick, it should work like a charm.
