I had never heard of Elysian Trust. There's a great quote on their homepage:
“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
Reminds me of the travesty of the IQ test. It only measures a certain type of intelligence, thus the prevalence of its use to measure human intelligence leaves many people thinking they are unintelligent, when really they are just intelligent in ways not measured by that test.
