As a New Englander with a Puritan background, I definitely understand the closed off and repressed personality. Surely I've got one myself!

There seems to be something about the warmer climates that cause people to open up and relax. Maybe it's because they haven't been living under the pressure of "build a solid house and get that wood stockpiled or we will freeze."

And as for religion, it seems to flourish in climates where the only place to meet up with your friends is a well-heated church.

Puerto Rico sounds like a perfect change.

Excellent points. Maybe there is something to the warmer climates? 🤨 Colder climates do require us to hunker down and prepare more for survival. Even Just think about the body language of being cold...it’s contracted and closed. “Changes in latitude, changes in attitudes...”
