Just like @randowhale you send X amounts of STEEMDOLLARS to @booster - whatever amount you want, it is completely up to you. What will happen next is when the timer runs out every 2.4 hours, it will upvote everyone in that time-window with a 100% upvote divided among the bidders and give a stake-based % on amounts received from you.
This is how you do it
as you can see in the example above, that is how you do it - send whatever amount you want to @booster (make sure the name is correct) with a link to your post in the memo like these people are doing:
When the 2.4 hour window closes another 2.4 hour window opens while @booster votes on everyone according to what they put in like @booster do to these people in the following screenshot:
So let us take a look of the results in the next picture where @condra got a 32.25% upvote, let us look at what that is in Money:
As you can see a @booster vote in this case was the highest upvoter on this post, and @condra is now a happy gamer. The only unknown factor in each time-window are how many bloggers he had to compete with.

it is not 5x return dear, 25% will go back as curator reward. so 3SBD plus 25% of the reward earned from vote by booster is the total cost here.
5X return is pretty lucky case I guess. People cannot expect it to happen!! If you invest 2SBD with @booster you are actually going to get a ROI with minus according to your calculator.

Interesting idea so trying it out with few posts. Is there a minimum amount that will get counted? My first attempt was with 0.320 not sure if it missed the window or just too low?
If you look at @booster´s wallet you can see how the window looks. 0.320 could be too small if the other bids are higher.

@dexter-k that can happen from time to time. Luckily @booster is smart enough to send your money back automatically if it could not make the upvote. You can find your refund in your steemit wallet.

This is an awesome feature! Can be scary for someone new to send SBD over and then miss out on the vote. Having the guarantee it will be returned if that is the case...That is some solid community building right there!

Looks like a cool idea. I'm a frequent user of @randowhale and I'll most certainly use randowhale's services in the future too.- I love the concept and it's easy as pie. However, @booster seems to have taken the "good parts" from @randowhale and made something unique out of it. I think it's a great idea but I'm also worried about the ROI further on.
My guess is that you'll be able to reap a small fortune on your posts as long as you play when there's few players around. - With tons of competitors, which I truly believe it will be, as this is something that will be used frequently, (Just look at @randowhale) I guess you'll end up with pretty low ROI but still benefit from the whale vote as you'll go higher up in the categories. - My 2 cents anyways.
I just did a big entry into it Lets see how this turns out. I am taking a little risk with this and I think it will reward me. Good to see something completely different brought to the table. Also good to see my steemspeak peeps here

It means for the players to profit they'll strategically time their votes and stakes. I predict people will start gambling in the last 5min every 2,4h interval :P This might turn into a shitshow, but hell, free money! :D
that is right. Inspired by the "EOS ICO"-model, it can be very good and when needed it will be modified to suit better demands. Have fun with it and don´t go "all in" to it.

While it's nice to see alternatives to projects within steemit it'll also be good to get more clarity.
What happens if the amount gets sent just an hour before the 7th day of the post and it gets the vote two hours later? You should stipulate some post age to be on the safe side.
Is there any reason for choosing 2.4 hours? Why not an hour?.
the reason for choosing 2.4 hours vote-windows is inspired by the EOS ICO by @dan. Also it has to do with not draining the bot for vote-power but have a more calculated boost. As you know there is a limit on 10 X 100% upvotes per in a 24 hour period so these settings are done initially to explore and we adjust as we move forward. If it was per hour, we would adjust down the %.

you can do posts and comments. You can also add more coin to it if competition is hard, we just implemented stacking. New feature :)
