My Idea for Brainstorming Challenge: Impressions

IMPRESSIONS

A. The Goal

The main objective of this activity is to bring as many Steemians together regardless of their culture, social status, and other personal views in life. The activity will attempt to make people tell about how they think they are viewed by other people, how they are really viewed by other people, and who they really are.

B. How it Works

The contest will run once a week from Saturday to Friday and will be divided into three phases. The number of participants is not limited.

How I think Steemians Think of Me

Every week or so, five active Steemians (the number will vary depending on the number of participants) will be asked to create an article that they need to submit within two days (preferably Saturday and Sunday). The post should contain five things that they think other Steemians see them as. It may as simple as a trait like "I think Steemians think that I am a snob because I don't upvote or reply to their comments often" "I think Steemians think that I am funny" or actual details such as "I think Steemians think that my real name is Satoshi Jr." and "I think Steemians think that I'm already more than 60 years old". Honesty and creativity is highly encouraged in the featured Steemian's posts.

How Steemians Really Think of Me

After the five featured Steemians have submitted their post, a main contest post will be made where the compiled links to the articles of can be found. During this phase, other Steemians will be free to comment on the featured Steemians' posts about what they think of that person (MUST be positive or neutral, because this activity is not meant to create negative conversations on Steemit) regardless of if they know each other personally. Audience Steemians may

What I Actually Am

The featured Steemians may choose to affirm, reply, or say 'no comment' to other Steemians' replies to their articles. This phase, along with the previous one, will run from Monday until Friday. During this phase, it is expected that there will be many interactions from a Steemian to another Steemian. People will know themselves better and meet other people who share the same perspective as they have.

C. Rewards

I had a hard time thinking how the rewards system will be incorporated to this strategy. I am thinking that the featured Steemians will get the rewards first through upvotes and resteems of their "How I think Steemians Think of Me" posts. The SBD rewards from the main contest post will also be distributed among them. The next featured Steemians will be determined based on their participation on the previous round; how often they make a comment, how often do they upvote, the quality of their replies etc.; although this could be a tough one if there are many participants involved.

I am also not thinking of making the activity available for minnows and red fishes only because the activity is about meeting new people above anything else. And it can be a great avenue for whales to give their support to smaller accounts too.
