in #buildawhale7 years ago (edited)

Love feedback and real Steemit authors? Then this is the issue of Curation digest for you.

In this issue, five (5) epic pieces of content are highlighted.

Curation Digest.jpg

These pieces of content were nominated by the Steemit community through using the @buildawhale service. All you need to do is send 0.10-.50 SBD to @buildawhale with the URL of the content you want to nominate in the Memo field. And whala epic content nominated.

We emphasize with the Steemians who put their mind, body, and soul into the content they create. So our goal with @buildawhale is to help these amazing Steemians gain recognition, feedback, and the rewards they deserve.

They put their mind, body, and soul into their work. Why can't we help them out by showcasing their content and providing valuable feedback?

As a result @buildawhale publishes two posts highlighting the nominated content. the firs part offers quick knowledge nuggets and additional exposure for the authors. And the second part as you see includes a comprehensive analysis of the content to provide feedback to these authors and also provide Steemians with the maximum value.

Let's dive on in @buildawhale style:

The first nominated piece of content by the Steemit community is @cupidzero’s masterpiece of content titled: “The Social Justice Movement is Its Own Worst Enemy.”

I don’t think the @buildawhale Curation Team has seen so much useful, relevant, unique thoughts and information in a single Steemit post before. Your other posts are epic, but holy smokes @cupidzero this might be your best work.

You inspired us with the amount of quality videos, images, and formatting to reinforce and break down the amount of epic text you have.

We know it’s difficult to get people to read long posts especially about subjects like this. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, but some call us different :)

Our recommendation to you so that the masses will read and apply this content is to break it up into daily sections of information.

We would have ended this particular post with the line: “This is very much a working definition, is sufficient for my purposes here.”

And then put different images and headers to break up that first part and make it more visually appealing and there you go a nice easy to read post that a lot of Steemians will want to read.

We also love your post with the amount of knowledge you share.

My favorite is “If society is a bridge, the individual is one of the struts that supports it.” And then you incorporate that with integrity to provide a bold statement that by removing the integrity of one it collapses the whole.

Steemians this happens in the entire post and it is absolutely incredible to see such time and effort go into post creation.

Thanks again for putting your mind, body, and soul into this piece. Check it out here: https://steemit.com/politics/@cupidzero/the-social-justice-movement-is-its-own-worst-enemy

The second post nominated by the Steemit community is @always1success: stunning photo post titled: “Curly clouds”

DQmSzWMKxupA5LSwCDaei8QnaPxXFkg3GRWreHLmPj2aoX2_1680x8400.jpg

Even though the quantity was few, the quality of your images in this post are absolutely stunning.

The members of the @buildawhale team have never been to Belarus before but holy smokes did we feel like it with your photos.

It’s the little things in your photographs that make such a huge difference.

The sailboat floating gives such depth and perspective really elevating the image. And not to mention the seagull flying adds another beautiful piece to this photograph.

Also, the way you captured these photographs makes them extremely relatable to people. You captured them as if these clouds could be over where they are at this moment.

This ability for people to connect and relate with your photographs really elevated your photography post above the others.

The one recommendation we would add is to add text to reiterate and reinforce the message your photographs are saying. Being able to understand where they were taken, how they were taken, the significant in your life or others would really add depth to this post.

Simply, add more text to your stories to really elevate your posts to the next level. Thank you so much for taking us to Belarus with you, we really appreciate it :)

@daodesam incredible philosophy post titled: “Nietzche on Social Justice Warriors” is the third piece of amazing content nominated by the Steemit community.

DQmPS7exfQSsH1gsb7FRnUofzndU3MZBLG7X1vcFDuqZm5f_1680x8400.jpg

Wow you blew us away how you compared Nietzche with SJWs (“Social Justice Warriors.”)

Its content like this that can really help people understand a more abstract concept with something they may be more familiar with.

You absolutely nailed it with your take on the current SJWs and their mindset and how it compares to the “levelers” of Nietzche’s work.

You have so much epic text in here; our one recommendation is to add more images. You have seven (7) straight paragraphs of text with no headers or images to break up the flow for the reader. This decreases the chances readers read to the end dramatically.

So really all this incredible piece needs is some more images, a few headers, and you are on your way to a top-notch all around Steemit post.

Thanks again for teaching information this in a new way. It definitely helped make the information stick more. Once you hear the same info being expressed the same way it gets repetitive and doesn’t stick to memory. You did not have this problem and we look forward to more content from you : )

The fourth piece of epic content in this issue of Curation Digest is @arbitrarykitten’s life-changing post titled: : “How Important is Touch, Really?”

DQmRvgeEXGyPzmQCsGXc2PPFgb8yHYemg55T1fFZpGWNTbS_1680x8400.png

The amount of lives @arbitrarykitten can change with this most is incredible. All we need to do is get people to see and read it.

This posts gives useful information on how to fight depression, raise your immune system, improve relationships, and get rid of anxiety.

Sounds like a lot of useful information?

We thought so too and holy smokes @arbitrarykitchen thank you so much for writing this.

For a lot of people, they just need a trustworthy 3-rd party source to get content from. Sometimes you are too close to a person to give advice. So showing people this article you created will absolutely do this.

It provides a trustworthy foundation of knowledge for people to apply and use in their lives to help themselves and others.
We can’t think of a much better message in a post than that. Thanks again for inspiring :)

The fifth an final piece of content highlight in this issue of Curation digest is @xyzashu’s post titled: “Entry 1 - Voice of Steemit Short Story Contest: Krishna's Adventures With Dairy.”

U5dtaeBC3ZNh8Gcb7zSXgAte6tfWD8j_1680x8400.jpg

This story is one of the best attempts at exposing the dairy industry we have seen. Holy smokes @xyzashu this story is suspenseful, emotional, and thoughtful. Is this based off of real life? ;)

You kept us captivated all the way through with the tale of Krishna, faith, life, and the journey of cows.

Everything from the images, formatting, and incredible text made this one of the Team’s favorites of the Curation list.

And we know it is 10 days old but as we said earlier we are here to help you get recognition for your epic work.

We have learned having followers who actually care and read content are the best prize we could ask for.

This is why @buildawhale doesn’t focus on Curation rewards like other guilds. We focus on incredible authors like yourself @xyzashu. You deserve all the recognition you get. And we wish you the best on your journey. Namaste.

This concludes Part Two of Issue #7. Stay tuned for Part One of Issue #8 in twelve (12) hours.

Besides additional feedback and rewards, the two parts of Curation digest makes sure these epic authors get a 24 hour window of exposure for their work.

They put their mind, body, and soul into their work. Why not reward them with the maximum exposure?
