Bought an electric brushcutter!

in #building2 days ago

I always wondered if electric brush cutters were strong enough and apparently they are but you need loots of batteries!

Makita dur369az is quite powerful but also needs 2 18volt batteries to run...
2x 5ah is the bare minimum.

Let's make my garden a bit more presentable.

A ton of work has been done here. Tools like these are lifesavers. These days, the hardest thing to buy is time, and since these save you time, they're worth it. Yes, you need a lot of batteries, but like I said, you're buying time. I always enjoy watching drone footage. They're ideal for scanning an area. I don't think you're that bad of a pilot, I just don't think it's that easy to use :P

I got the dewalt one to go with my 20V batteries and LOVE IT! I have a homestead farm so it's a must have.

Yeah 👍 it's nice bit pricy it's basically an angle grinder with a stick but for the rest great tools

Honestly I prefer gas tools, especially when I need to work in places where we haven't electricity I can use just them.
On the other side of hand I should say that they have their cons like notice, smoke and other well known moments.

Me in general too but the noise of lawnmowers just annoy me
