According to Coin Telegraph's report, Laszlo Hanyecz, who scored 10,000 Bitcoins in 2010 to buy two pizzas, has now bought two more pizzas using the Lightning Network.
Hanyecz made the first pizza purchase with Bitcoin on 22 May 2010. Since May 22nd, it has been celebrated as "Bitcoin Pizza Day". The current value of 10,000 BTC is about $ 95 million ($ 361 million).
Hanyecz gave only 0.00649 Bitcoin for two pizzas worth $ 62 this time.
First purchase with Lightning Network was made on January 20th
The first physical purchase of the second layer payment protocol, Lightning Network, took place on January 20th. The Reddit user who did the transaction purchased a VPN Router via a payment channel provided by TorGuard.
Lightning Network technology is planning to solve the scaling problem of Bitcoin network. This technology, which is still in the test phase, will be able to pay instantly and almost zero wages to Bitcoin if it can be successfully implemented.

Just wondering, how much was Bitcoin worth in 2010? The Lightning Network looks like a promising technology that will make BTC a usable currency for every day purchases worldwide.
