Weekly Update 43
Forward We Go!
Week 43 was a week of incremental gains. Steem ($0.31), finally managed to get back over $0.30 and we added another 300 SP from the leasing market due to our weekly post and donations. We are at 16,800 SP, and knocking on our all time highs. Small steps are good and this week that's what we had!
Our upvote this week on our weekly post was again more than $12, and this definitely helps us to add a few more leases to grow our SP. We had a nice week of participation on the post and again @fulltimegeek appeared strong with his bots close behind! Awesome job everyone, and thank you again for your support. On our vote values, we were finally down for the week (last week we didn't get the drop from the previous week's Steem plunge), and we are casting a vote value of $0.12 per post per steward (-$0.02). I think that might inch a little higher next week as Steem has stabilized.
We had 7 donations for the week (5 donors) for a total of 9 Steem, which is one of our best weeks of donations in a long time! We had both SOG and non-SOG donors too. Our donors were SOG members @cranium of 1.0 Steem, @abh12345 of 2.0 Steem and @davedickeyyall 2x for a total of 3.0 Steem; and non-SOG members @bashadow of 1.0 Steem and @preparedwombat 2x for a total of 2.0 Steem. What an great week and glad to see this kind of support, especially given the hardship so many have with Steem prices so low. This Weeks Payment On Posts Today (~$12 Steem)
Tonight we will receive the 43rd weekly payout since the launch of this program. The payout will be $12 steem, and it, along with any donations will be used to initiate new leases if the rates stay so favorable. The goal will be to add more new 13 week leases to replace the expiring 13 week leases each week that come due!
We have successfully built up and stabilized our account, and now we should provide a steady and growing upvote if we continue to get your support. The goal is to give the SOG members a real benefit and with your continued efforts to support us, we will continue to build the SP and curation trail.

As mentioned earlier these new donations and earnings of sbd from posts will be reinvested to grow the SP so that the SOG members get a bigger hit to their upvote. We have now started lengthening the leases from 13 to 20 weeks depending on market opportunities.
What you can do if you want to support this project to help @fulltimegeek and his #stewardsofgondor
#1 You can follow what we are doing and tell your followers and friends through various methods
#2 You can upvote our posts to increase the amount of earnings we have to lease more SP
#3 You can follow our curation trail (84th place already) on steemauto and have your upvote show moral support (even 2 or 3% is something that matters because it all adds up)
#4 You can donate directly like the wonderful people above
#5 You can delegate any of your own SP for any period of time that suits you while this Quest is ongoing
#6 Last but not least, you can thank the individual "friends" that are supporting this effort directly. Sometimes just a stop by and a small note saying you appreciate their help will make a big difference to a donor's day!

ok ... I have 570 SP total to delegate. Looks like on Minnowbooster most are being filled at 14-20%. So if you are asking me what rate... let's go with 15% apr
That comes to 25 Steem for the 13 week lease.
Or if you want to do a 20 week lease at 15%... that would be 38 Steem.

"Delegation follows the same rules but is based on your current mana. If you have 10,000 steem power and you want to delegate 10,000 steem power you would need to be 100% mana. If you have 80% mana, you can only delegate 8,000 steem power. This is to prevent draining the VP on an account and then delegating it. Although the 7 day cooldown was always in place for preventing that over long term."
yeah... just before now I went and upvoted my power down to 20% because I wasn't going to be using my SP for a while. Seems you can't do that with the new hard fork. do i really have to wait 97 hours until my voting power is back up to 100%?? Weird!!! Sorry. Then i will start the delegation in a few days. Okay?
