A three-day heatwave grips Britain and temperatures are expected to hit record levels in the London area, according to BBC weather. Going to the park and enjoying some sunbathing seemed like a good idea so my friend Jo and I headed to "Green Park" in central London.
"Green Park" itself is a lovely vast green area with lots of mature trees and grassland. Quite a few families are having picnics mixed in with some joggers and cyclists as well. What a wonderful green space to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life and enjoy a slice of quiet time!
