Yea I'll keep doing what I do regardless of economic incentives and they are winning in your mind I guess for now at least.. Which begs the question why did u not use your 94k stake to have a real say ?

it was too expensive and still is to have an influence.

Do the math... To have influence over a tiny crowd of people who don't have a common vision and aren't working towards a common goal... It would cost more than the site is worth. That distribution is always a problem and might be the number one problem. Too many whales for a small community to support their ROI and especially when they haven't even helped.

Would you want to be partners with them? I had a $40k
windfall when I found Steem. It was my intention to put it in. I never did. If I had at the time it might have been fine.

This is a faithless response. Not inaccurate just boggles the mind why you would think mass adoption or whatever it is that u think is best for this place that clearly you're not willing to partner with?

And no, again idgaf about money, especially steem money, and I don't think monetized social media is viable as a career which many seem to be hell bent on. This is especially a foolish game to play with the lopsided whale situation. It's a game! It's nothing more if you're focused on economics. A stupid game at that.

I'm just not seeing what you expect and how you anticipate those expectations will be met, at all.

I have a way different values system I suppose and appreciate the attempt to build the impossible here. Expectations are a mofo, Why do you care if steem succeeds? Why do you want more people to onboard? How will more clueless people here with no skin in the game fix anything?

Steem was an experiment, we all called it that.
It was the biggest opportunity I've ever seen, it's been hard to watch that be wasted.
It is still some what of an experiment, but the window of opportunity is mostly gone I think.

Why shouldn't I care? Why do you care?

If nothing else, steem was my crypto education, I've loved it. I've watched many others pour blood sweat and tears in.. While the "investor" popped in and asked if he was rich yet once in a while. :) My caring about Steem is no longer rational, it's built on community effort, hopes and disappointment. A bit like family.

Why do you wish to attack my view, I am not asking you to adopt it. I'm telling you what I think because you keep asking. It's odd to attack my answers.

You only see it as an attack because as you said its irrational. You're here for an abstraction, that's great! Me too, I'm just not spreading piss and vinegar because a window that never existed for me has closed in your view.

If speaking my opposing opinion is piss and vinegar ... Okay.

:)

It's not piss and vinegar bc it's opposition it's bc is it's basically a done deal and your shit ass snide comments "no more votes for small accounts" is a, sarcastic jab at accounts like mine that don't give a shit about your votes and it's overwhelming cost to your powered down account..
