Driving home from Target, after being the only one in the store without a muzzle, one of the ubiquitous mind control devices came into view. Week after week for the past several months, these signs have flashed "WEAR A MASK", "WASH YOUR HANDS", "KEEP YOUR DISTANCE". But today, a different message:
I'll admit, this is not the most reassuring message to read given that I was going to park my vehicle not far from there. But at least it wasn't about the fucking masks. Finally!
Hopefully the next message isn't "PLEASE HELP", "PREVENT HOME INVASIONS", "DON'T OPEN YOUR DOOR".

Hahahahaha! I'm so glad to hear you're not riding the crazy train! Since I live out in the middle of nowhere, I am curious to see how other places are handling this nonsense. Muzzles are abundant in Oregon, and I'm getting really,really tired of it!
Nearly everyone here wears a muzzle. The exception is when they’re seated at a restaurant (outside dining only, of course), because Covid can’t get you unless you’re standing ;-)
One of my favorite bits of lunacy is how at the grocery store they used to have (during the early months of this) someone sanitizing the shopping cart handles before people took them into the store. Once the muzzle mandate went universal, no more cart cleaning. I guess if you're wearing a mask, COVID can't get on your hands. I just want to crawl under a rock and not come out until this is all over.

Hehehe, that is quite a change in message, and I'd be surprised too... and will start wondering the why for the message. well.... with everyone wearing a mask, you don't know one thief from another from public live cameras,🤣 hahaha, so better lock your car doors!
